I thought I'd kick off a new thread to bring you the latest news and a place you can visit to ask questions etc.
The Programme has been tweaked a little here and there and we are still confirming one or two things.
One change will be on Thursday 23rd. We plan to have two races and be finished by 13:00 This will allow those who want to, depending on the weather, to sail up the coast together, to Lowestoft where there will be an Air Show. Last year we sailed up there and the sights and sounds are amazing as the large variety of aircraft perform tricks and stunts and some classic planes fly by. Being directly under a Eurofighter is something not to be missed and how our burgee didn't melt in the jet wash is beyond me! If we make good time we could stop in at the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk for a drink before sailing back.
On Friday we aim to hold the prize giving at 15:00.
We have opened an online shop which carries event T-shirts, hats etc.
If you want to buy something you must do it online as we will not be able to supply any at the Club.
Make sure you click on the item you're interested in and check the back as well as the front and select the right size for you.
We can personalise any of the items for a little extra charge so you could have your boat name, sailnumber, National flag or if given a little time, I can produce different graphics.
The items are not cheap but there is no minimum order, so removing the risk of carrying any cost for unsold items.
The image below shows when we expect to be on the water.
Grey areas = on the water Orange areas = we need to be ashore Red areas = Low water making launching and retrieval difficult. Blue area = proposed sail in company to Lowestoft
This is a guide only and ac tual times may change due to weather conditions.
No need to panic, you will still need to work hard to finish in the top ten. From various phone calls and messages the following said they were coming as well. GBR566 GER518 GER550 GBR565 GBR561 GBR543 GBR514 GBR560 GBR521 GBR563 GBR301 Plus some others I've forgotten and NED boats not yet registered.

That would be:
NED 204 NED 557
GER 550 is now NED550, and not there Peter sails GER 569 now...... We will see what he does next week at our nationals, but there will be some interesting techy stuff as Thomas Bröker put 569 together
I believe that makes a total of just over 20 boats for the moment?
NED527 is a big maybe, crew is needed.

Trust us to work extremely hard, 508 was thrilled to hear we were going to Southwold and is ready to give its best.
NED 567 isn't coming. Mieke has serious back trouble and is unable to sail. Jan ten Hoeve is not looking for new crew.... so that's one less. Sorry for that.
I hope you allocated enough space for camping. In the pictures you can see the Schlittenhard-tent, Harry Zaremba's caravan, and there will also be two 6m camper vans.... That is quite a party!
Thanks to behind the scenes work from Richard Gavin and Mike, I'm now coming to Southwold, sailing with Olly, and hopefully keeping my mast intact this time! One medium size tent space please. Tim GBR 563
Because fysical problems of the crew from junkfood, Jan ten hoeve is available for helmsman or crewing. Handy: +31650277164. We are both coming to england today 14 of july.
