| This Week Friday 1st July – Bar Open from 6pm, Sunset 21:18 The bar will be open from 6pm tonight, enjoy a sundowner on the balcony and a takeaway of your choice! Cruiser independent sailing. HW 12:55 A few of the cruisers are out this afternoon/evening, if you’d like to join the flotilla, its a 5pm start for a lap to the pier and back then a drink in the bar. Sunday 3rd July – Sea Racing, Summer Series 2. HW 13:53 First race start 11:30 Conditions are looking great for 3 races back to back in front of the town. Currently 7-11 knots south westerly and 20 degrees. Start gun 11:30. A Great opportunity to get your dinghy out to sea. Ideally we could do with a Rib crew as a second pair of hands to help moving buoys. No experience required. Committee boat could also do with some crew to help run the racing, raising flags etc. Sea will be flat due to off shore winds. Please get in touch if you can assist. BBQ after racing. Wednesday 6th July – Evening Sailing Independent Sailing. HW 15:53. |
| Last Week Sunday 26th June – Laser speed challenge With all other sailing blown off for the weekend, two intrepid laser sailors headed upriver for a blast.There was carnage on kamikaze corner, but otherwise a fun mornings sailing with no reported breakages!Hopefully we’ll have a bit less wind this weekend. |

| Wednesday 29th June – Work Party A fantastic work party was held on Wednesday with members new and old attending, another club wayfarer was rigged , banks strimmed and shed painted and of course retiring to the bar to make sure all beer taps working too!The volunteers really are the glue that holds the club together, well done all. |
