From 19 July 2021, social distancing and the wearing of masks is no longer a legal requirement.
However, our goal is to ensure that all our members feel comfortable using the club and its facilities.
As with sailing, we have to make judgments according to the conditions we find, and our aim is to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome in the club.
We therefore ask you to have a mask with you and be prepared to wear it and observe sensible social distancing if asked or whenever you think it wise.
The ventilation in the club could be better (we are preparing a planning application to improve this), so if in doubt, try to use the garden to socialise – but do please remember to pay for your drinks.
In the bar and clubhouse, please remain seated and someone will take your order and bring your drinks to you. If the clubhouse gets busy, use your judgment with the use of masks when walking around.
On busier nights, bar staff will make their judgement on whether members and guests should approach the bar for drinks.
Use of the changing rooms is limited to three family groups at a time, but please use caution and be sensible. The mop and some cleaning products and cloths will be available, and we ask that you please help us to step up the cleaning; enhanced professional cleaning services can be expensive and difficult to come by at this time.
We will continue to provide hand sanitiser.
Visiting yachts are once again welcome to use the club’s facilities, so long as a member is on site to offer guidance and explain these rules. Please ensure everything is locked up afterwards, and please do not give out any access codes.

Now that Covid restrictions have eased, we hope to see you out on the water!
